Cancellation and Refund Policy
This policy explains how cancellations, waitlists, and refunds work during EasyDine Phase 1.

1. Customer Cancellations
Customers can cancel eligible pending, confirmed, waitlisted, or table-ready reservations from their booking history where the cancellation action is available. Some late or completed bookings may no longer be cancellable online.
2. Restaurant Decisions
Restaurants may accept, reject, waitlist, mark ready, seat, complete, or mark no-show according to their operating process and availability. Customers should check booking status before arriving.
3. Time Changes and Waitlists
If the requested slot is unavailable, a restaurant may waitlist the request or propose another time. A waitlist request is not a confirmed table until the restaurant updates the booking status.
4. Refunds
EasyDine is not collecting online payments in Phase 1, so EasyDine does not process platform refunds for reservations. Any restaurant deposit, cancellation charge, or bill dispute must be handled directly with the restaurant unless EasyDine later enables payment processing.
