Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of the EasyDine platform — easydine.pk and the EasyDine (diner) and EasyDine Partner (operator) apps — operated by Sangjani Industries Pvt. Ltd. of Sangjani Village, Islamabad, Pakistan ("EasyDine", "we"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What EasyDine is (and isn't)

EasyDine is a reservation and discovery platform that connects diners with restaurants. We are not a restaurant and we do not prepare, serve, or sell food. The dining experience, food quality, pricing, and on-premises service are the sole responsibility of the restaurant. A reservation is a request/agreement between you and the restaurant; EasyDine facilitates it.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure. You're responsible for activity under your account.
• Customer login is by one-time code (OTP) to your email/phone. Operator accounts are issued to approved restaurants.
• You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction (and at least 13).
• You may delete your account at any time (in-app or easydine.pk/account/delete).

4. Bookings, waitlists & cancellations

• Submitting a booking sends a request to the restaurant. Depending on the restaurant's settings it may be auto-confirmed, held as pending for the restaurant to accept, or placed on a waitlist. Confirmation is not guaranteed until the restaurant confirms.
• Cancellations / no-shows: each restaurant sets its own cancellation and no-show policy, shown where applicable. Repeated no-shows may lead to restrictions on your account. No cancellation or no-show fees are charged in this version, as online payments are not enabled; any future fee policy will be set per restaurant and shown before you book.
• The restaurant may modify, cancel, or be unable to honor a reservation (e.g. capacity, closure). EasyDine is not liable for a restaurant's acts or omissions.

5. Payments

Online payments are not enabled in this version — you pay the restaurant directly. Any future payment features will be governed by additional terms presented at that time.

5a. Restaurant service charges

EasyDine is a reservation and discovery platform; it does not process payments or set the prices charged by restaurants. An individual restaurant may, at its own discretion, apply a service charge in connection with a booking made through EasyDine, including passing on the cost of the EasyDine booking service. Any such charge, its amount, and any variation based on the actual number of guests seated are determined, applied, disclosed, and collected solely by the restaurant. EasyDine is not a party to and accepts no responsibility for any such charge.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: misuse the service; submit false bookings or spam; harass restaurants, staff, or other users; attempt to access data that isn't yours; scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service; or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. User content & messaging

You are responsible for content you submit (reviews, messages, photos, receipts). You grant EasyDine a limited license to host and display it to operate the service (e.g. show your review, deliver your message to the restaurant). Don't post unlawful, infringing, or abusive content. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

8. Restaurant operator terms

If you use EasyDine Partner on behalf of a restaurant, you additionally agree that:

• You are authorized to act for the restaurant and to manage its bookings, menu, hours, and customer communications on EasyDine.
• You will honor confirmed reservations in good faith and handle customer personal data only to provide the service, in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable law — not for your own marketing without the customer's consent, and never beyond your own restaurant's customers.
• You will keep your listing accurate (hours, menu, capacity) and respond to requests in a reasonable time.
• EasyDine may suspend a restaurant that abuses the platform, repeatedly cancels, or mishandles customer data.
• Commercial terms (fees, if any) are governed by the separate Restaurant Partner Terms; these Terms cover platform use.

9. Intellectual property

The EasyDine name, apps, website, and software are owned by EasyDine and protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the apps for their intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them.

9a. App stores (Apple & Google)

You obtain the EasyDine apps through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and your use is also subject to those stores' terms.

• Apple-sourced apps: These Terms are between you and Sangjani Industries Pvt. Ltd., not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. To the extent required by Apple, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the Apple EULA) also applies; where these Terms are more restrictive, these Terms govern. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for the app. Sangjani Industries Pvt. Ltd. — not Apple — is solely responsible for the app and for addressing any claims relating to it (including product-liability, legal-compliance, and intellectual-property claims), subject to these Terms. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S.-Government embargo and are not on any U.S.-Government prohibited-parties list.
• Updates & feature changes: We may update, add, change, or remove app features at any time, and your device may download and install updates automatically under the store's settings.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a restaurant will honor any reservation.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EasyDine is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for the acts/omissions of restaurants or third parties. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the preceding 12 months or PKR 25,000. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify EasyDine against claims arising from your misuse of the service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Islamabad, Pakistan, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email and the "Last updated" date will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
